La Quinta by Wyndham San Marcos Outlet Mall

The breakfast was one of the best I have had. There were hot scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, a variety of bread, muffins, waffles, and other items. One problem we had was the 2 lamps in the room did not work. We notified the front desk and the problem was fixed in about 30 minutes. Other than the light problem, the room was very nice.

The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the breakfast. The room is spacious, the bathroom was big and clean with amazing water pressure, and the staff was friendly.

The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. Two kinds of sausage, biscuits, gravy, two kinds of scrambled eggs, 3 waffle makers, bagels, muffins, cereal, apples and oranges, two kinds of juice and milk as well. The bed was very firm and there were 4 different types of pillows provided on my king size bed for a total of 8. The air conditioner was controlled by a thermostat on the wall and worked very well without freezing up. The room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. Had a walk in shower with no tub, sliding glass door. Stayed on the 4th floor with the window facing West, no view from that side due to the concrete trim of the building being 4 foot high but you could definitely see the sky. Friendly and efficient staff, check-in and out was fast and easy. Traveling with elderly parents and everything was very accessible and clean. Will stay here again.

The breakfast was good, with a large variety. The only suggestion is to have more coffee carafes ready ahead of time, it kept running out during breakfast...it would also be nice to have a little extra coffee available during the day.

The location is great. The access to the freeway and the outlet mall is perfect.
